DRT VTS 7 Salt In

The VTS 7 was not originally designed as a soft jerkbait but as a V-tail swimbait that slithers through the water like a fleeing baitfish when retrieved at medium to high speed.

When you combine this escape movement with pauses (stop-and-go), even the laziest fish can’t resist.
Although developer Tomoya Shirakawa didn’t design it as a fluke, the VTS 7 can still be used excellently as a soft jerkbait. Whether rigged on a 7/0 offset hook or nose-hooked with a hook keeper, it can be worked weedless through dense vegetation, making it ideal for summer fishing in shallow waters.

However, the applications for this bait are far from exhausted! Our field staff, for example, uses the VTS 7 extremely successfully for zander in shallow waters. For this, the bait is rigged with a light nail sinker and nose-hooked, then twitched just above the bottom.

Of course, it can also be used with a classic jig head.
