The VMC Mustache Rig is a slow-sinking bucktail with a built-in screw, available in 11 g and 20 g and in nine colours. It's a very attractive bucktail head for pike and zander. Combine it with our Charlie's Mustache Tail and you have a killer combination!

How to rig the Mustache Rig
It might take you a try or two, but it's worth the effort!
Step 1: Wet the bucktail
Wet the bucktail hair first. Wet hair lies flat, so you can see the screw and keep the hair out of the way.
Step 2: Make room around the screw
Push the hair back and away from the screw, so the screw is free and no hair gets caught under the tail.
Step 3: Rig your favourite tail
Screw the tail on straight and keep turning until it sits tight against the head.
Step 4: Fish more, talk less!
That's it: your Mustache Rig is ready to fish.
