Illex Momouse - Floating Mini Wakebait

The Illex Momouse is a compact floating mini wakebait designed to imitate a small rodent struggling on or just below the surface. Built with an ABS body, a supple mobile tail and a stainless-steel bead for extra casting distance, this lure creates a distinctive wobbling action with strong vibration through the water. It is a clever topwater/subsurface-style bait for predators that are feeding around banks, obstacles, stone groynes and restricted spots where a precise cast can make the difference.

At 42 mm body size with a 92 mm tail and 7 g weight, the Momouse is ideal for light to medium-light setups from the bank or boat. Fish it slowly to create a clear wake on the surface, work it just below the top layer, or speed it up with the rod tip held low to trigger following fish. The compact mouse profile is especially useful for perch, pike, trout, black bass and chub in small rivers, tight corners and shallow cover.
