The DRT Cramp Shad Fat is based on its slimmer counterpart, maintaining the same length and combined paddle/V-tail. The DRT Cramp Shad "Fat" version features a significantly broader and slightly flattened body, along with a different salt content, resulting in a completely different weight distribution. This allows the DRT Cramp Shad Fat to be used on a weightless offset hook (e.g., Beast 4/0) in a manner similar to a Tiny Klash in Deadwalk or Glide Mode. When rigged "upside down," with the belly facing up, it exhibits a wide S-shaped motion even during a steady retrieve, reminiscent of a classic glide bait.
