The Illex Dexter Tip Up Head is a screw-in weighted head designed for rigging softbaits such as Dexter Shads and Dexter Eels with a clean, centred presentation. The metal screw pin helps position the lure accurately, while the spiral attachment gives a solid hold in the softbait. Its specific head shape is made to accentuate the rolling action of the lure, helping the bait swim naturally and with extra attraction.

This head fits any type of softbait and can be used in different rigging setups. The back plate fits neatly with the flat front of a Dexter Shad or Dexter Eel, creating a balanced connection between head and body. Use the top ring to attach your main line or trace and the bottom ring for belly rigging with a Dexter Shad Tip Up Screw Rig. The top ring can also be used as a sliding ring for a Dexter Shad Solid Sharp Shooter Rig, while the bottom ring can be used to add a metal blade on a rolling swivel.
