The Illex Dexter Eel 150 is an eel-shaped softbait designed to appeal to a wide range of freshwater predators and saltwater fish. Like the Dexter Shad, the rubber is soft but tough and flavoured to the core with Nitro Booster shellfish attractant. Its long eel profile and curled tail create deep vibrations that predators can pick up from range, while the tight rolling action gives the lure a natural swimming movement.

The Dexter Eel 150 can be fished on a wide range of setups, from jigheads and offset wide gape hooks to Texas rigs and weightless presentations. It also works well as a trailer on swimming jigs and blade jigs. The lure can be cranked fast to cover water, or fished more slowly to focus on key feeding zones and wary fish.
