If you often target pike, zander, bass, or catfish, you probably know those days when the fish just don’t seem to bite. For those moments, I always have one secret weapon in my tackle box the ChaCha Bait from BIM Tackle.

What is the ChaCha Bait?

The ChaCha Bait is a unique combination of a chatterbait and a bucktail, creating an eye-catching action and strong vibrations in the water. These vibrations attract fish from a long distance and often trigger bites when nothing else works.

Three Sizes for Every Situation

The ChaCha comes in three different models:

  • ChaCha Mini

  • ChaCha Junior

  • ChaCha Regular (Original)

All ChaCha Baits are handmade from a mix of hairs and fibers. This combination gives them a nice full body underwater while keeping the wet weight lower compared to lures made entirely from bucktail.

Specs Overview

Model Length Weight (dry) Weight (wet) Sink Speed
ChaCha Mini 20 cm 18 g 22 g ± 1 meter in 3 seconds
ChaCha Junior 20 cm 30 g 35 g ± 1 meter in 3 seconds
ChaCha Regular 28 cm 50 g 60 g ± 1 meter in 3 seconds

All three models share a similar sink rate, making the ChaCha extremely versatile for both shallow and deeper waters.

Ready to Fish Right Out of the Box

Each ChaCha comes fully rigged and ready to fish.
It includes an extra eyelet, so you can easily add weights, treble hooks, or even a trailer on the main hook to match your fishing conditions.

How to Fish the BIM ChaCha Bait

The ChaCha is very easy to use:

  • Simply cast out and start retrieving.

  • Let it sink occasionally to follow the bottom contours.

  • If you start reeling in immediately, you can fish it shallow.

  • For very shallow water, keep your rod tip up while retrieving.

The vibrating blade and flowing bucktail give this lure a lively and natural action, making it effective all year round.

Our Experience

we always carry a BIM Tackle ChaCha bait with us, especially when the fishing is slow. It has saved more than a few tough sessions and helped me catch fish when others went home empty-handed.
