Catch With Care

CWC (Catch With Care) at Charlie's Fishing: Double Tail trailers and Mustache Mouse bucktail combos

CWC, short for Catch With Care, is a Swedish tackle company founded in 1992 and based in Sollentuna. It calls itself one of the leading distributors of predator fishing gear in Northern Europe, with its own CWC products next to brands such as Strike Pro. From CWC we stock the original Miuras Mouse twin tails: the CWC Double Tail and the CWC Double Tail Mini. We also fit them on our own Charlie's Mustache Mouse combos, so you can fish a CWC tail straight out of the pack. Below you find what each one is for.

CWC Double Tail: the 17 cm twin tail for big bucktails

The CWC Double Tail is the original twin tail of the Miuras Mouse, sold separately by Catch With Care. It is 17 cm long and weighs 49 g, and its two flexible tails keep rolling and kicking even at a slow retrieve, which is often what turns a following pike into a taking one. It fits bucktails with a screw or hook-and-tail system, such as the VMC Mustache Shallow and the VMC Pike Chain Rig. Keep one as a spare for the day pike teeth shred your tail, or use it to change colour: a contrasting tail on a natural body, or a white tail behind a dark bucktail in low light. Eleven colours, one tail per pack. More in Spare Parts and Mouse & Bucktail Lures.

CWC Double Tail Mini: 14.5 cm for baby bucktails

The CWC Double Tail Mini is the original tail of the Miuras Mouse Mini: the same two flexible tails, scaled down to 14.5 cm and 20 g for lighter rods and smaller bucktails. It fits the VMC Mustache Shallow Baby and the VMC Mustache Rig, and it keeps working at slow speed behind a small bucktail. Nine colours, one tail per pack. Want to rig your own step by step? Charlie's Mustache Mouse combos: ready to fish with a CWC tail

Our Mustache Mouse combos put a VMC bucktail, a CWC tail and a VMC Pike Chain together in one set, ready for pike. The Charlie's Mustache Mouse Combo combines the VMC Mustache Shallow with the CWC Double Tail: 20 cm and 80 g, the big version for big pike. The Charlie's Mustache Mouse Baby Combo pairs the VMC Mustache Shallow Baby with the CWC Double Tail Mini: 17 cm and 40 g wet weight, for lighter tackle. To fish deeper, the Charlie's VMC Mustache Mouse Combo Sinking is built on the VMC Mustache Rig with a CWC Double Tail Mini: 16 cm long, with an 11 g head (33 g in total) for water up to about 2 m deep or a 20 g head (43 g in total) for water up to about 4 m. See the full VMC range in our VMC collection and more rigs in Rigs & Stingers.

Also in this collection: Strike Pro Guppie

CWC also distributes Strike Pro, so you find the Strike Pro Guppie here too. It is a sinking, lead free pike hardbait with a 13.5 cm body, 22 cm total length and 120 g, running at 1.5 to 3 m on 2/0 trebles. A spring screw at the tail lets you screw tail types on and off to change its action. More in Pike Hardbaits and our Strike Pro collection.
