Charlie's Fishing

Charlie's Fishing own range: ready-to-fish combos, softbaits, Rapala Limited Edition and apparel

Charlie's Fishing is a predator and saltwater fishing webshop from Egmond aan Zee in the Netherlands, run by anglers and shipping across Europe. Next to the brands we stock, we put together our own products: ready-to-fish bucktail and pelagic combos, our own softbaits and finesse heads, the Rapala x Charlie's Fishing Limited Edition, caps, tees, a fish handling glove and gifts. You can follow our fishing on Instagram at charlies.fishing.official, and read how it all started in our one year review. Below you find what each one is for.

Charlie's Mustache Mouse combos: ready-to-fish bucktails for pike

Our Mustache Mouse combos pair a VMC Mustache bucktail with a Catch With Care twin tail and a VMC Pike Chain, so you get a complete pike lure out of the box. The Charlie's Mustache Mouse Combo (20 cm, 80 g) combines the VMC Mustache Shallow, the CWC Double Tail and the VMC Pike Chain Rig in size M. The Charlie's Mustache Mouse Baby Combo (17 cm, 40 g wet weight) is the size smaller, built on the VMC Mustache Shallow Baby with the CWC Double Tail Mini and a VMC Pike Chain. For deeper water there is the Charlie's VMC Mustache Mouse Combo Sinking (16 cm) on the VMC Mustache Rig with the CWC Double Tail Mini and a VMC Pike Chain: the 11 g version (33 g in total) fishes water up to about 2 metres deep, the 20 g version (43 g in total) up to about 4 metres when casting. The CWC Double Tail Mini (14.5 cm, 20 g) is also sold on its own as a spare tail. Read our blog VMC Mustache Rig: four steps to rig this pike bucktail, and see all Mouse & Bucktail Lures.

Charlie's Bucktail Baby Mustache Combo and Charlie's Mustache Tails

The Charlie's Bucktail Baby Mustache Combo (20 cm, 70 g wet weight) puts a Rapala Soft Peto on the VMC Mustache Shallow Baby and comes with a VMC Pike Chain in size M, ready to fish in six colours. For the VMC Mustache Rig we also make Charlie's Mustache Tails: 20 cm replacement tails in a pack of two, to refresh a worn tail or change the look of your rig without buying a new setup. More for pike in the VMC collection.

Charlie's Pela jig Combo 60 g: ready for pelagic fishing

The Charlie's Pela jig Combo 60 g combines a 60 g VMC Pela Jig with two Frapp Snatcher 6.6" (16.5 cm) softbaits, so you can start pelagic fishing straight away. Total weight is 80 g, the hook is a VMC UV Round 1X Strong treble in size #1, and the head has a digital 3D print with 3D eyes in Fire Chart, Zander and Perch. See more in Pelagic and Zander.

Charlie's Tungsten Ned Rig and Charlie's Tube: finesse for perch and zander

The Charlie's Tungsten Ned Rig is a 2.8 g tungsten Ned head, three per pack. Tungsten gives a compact head for its weight and a direct feel for the bottom and every bite, and the flat head keeps your softbait standing upright on slow, passive days. The Charlie's Tube is a 10 cm cross between a tube and a craw for big perch and zander. Its hollow body takes a tube jig or a regular jig head, and it comes three per pack in six colours. Rapala x Charlie's Fishing Limited Edition Super Shadow Rap Glide 11

Together with Rapala we designed our own colour on the Super Shadow Rap Glide 11: the Rapala x Charlie's Fishing Limited Edition. It is a perch pattern with golden accents for flash in the sun, bold black stripes and an orange belly for contrast in low light and murky water. It weighs 45 g and is 11 cm long, 14 cm with the tail. In the box you get the lure with two VMC UV Hooks Orange on VMC Heavy Duty Split Rings, a 5 g screw-in weight, a red tail for clear water, an orange tail for murky water and a tracer sticker. Heavier or lighter Rapala Screw Diver System Weights change the sink rate, and the Super Shadow Rap Glide 11 Stickers give you three extra sticker packs. The standard colours are in the Rapala Super Shadow Rap Glide 11. Read the story in Rapala x Charlie's Fishing Limited Edition Super Shadow Rap Glide and see Swimbaits & Glidebaits.

Charlie's Fishing caps and tees

The Charlie's Fishing Cap Green Pike and Charlie's Fishing Cap Khaki Pike have a woven patch with a pike leaping for a lure, and the Charlie's Fishing Cap Green Bass shows a black bass between the reeds. Charlie's Fishing Glove and the Crab and Crayfish Trap Pod

The Charlie's Fishing Glove is a reinforced pair of fish handling gloves, left and right, with a magnetic clip for your bag or trousers. It protects your hands against teeth and gill rakers when you land and unhook pike, catfish and other predators, in sizes S to XXL (hand length 17 to 21 cm). The Crab and Crayfish Trap Pod is a stackable freshwater trap for signal crayfish and Chinese mitten crab, with a click system, a weighted base and an open throat that lets protected fish species out, in Small and Large.
