Ghost SupraCruz V3 Medium – Planer Board Pair for Trolling Salmon, Sea Trout and Pike

The SupraCruz V3 Medium from Swedish brand Ghost Tackle is a side planer that takes your lines out wide of the boat. That way you cover far more water when you troll. You get a pair, one board for the left side and one for the right, in fluorescent yellow and fluorescent red. So you always see which line runs where.

Ghost built the V3 to run in the water as much like the trusted V2 as possible, with a few new materials. The 83 g rudder weight is now all stainless steel. The patented spring-back arm sits between RTV silicone bushings, and the new arm holder takes two to three times more bending cycles. A short piece of hose on the ring between the line clip and the arm stops the line from dropping too far on tight turns.

Ghost tuned the Medium for salmon trolling at 2 to 3 knots. That speed range also suits trolling for pike on big lakes and along the coast.
