Hispano Lures Polaris Drifter 177

Hispano Lures Polaris Drifter 177 – Floating Soft Glide Swimbait for Pike and Zander

The Hispano Lures Polaris Drifter 177 is a 177 mm floating soft glidebait for pike, zander, perch and black bass. Its jointed two-section body glides from side to side with a natural, silent action, and when you pause the retrieve it slowly rises back up. That rise is what makes it work on days when predators follow but feed very slowly.

Like the Polaris, the Drifter has a leader-through system, so you can rig the treble on the back or on the belly of the lure, and the hook is detachable to protect the body. Because it floats, you can work it slowly just over weed beds and snags, or let it drift up away from cover between pulls. The eye under the chin lets you add extra weight when you want to fish it deeper. At 2 oz it casts well on a medium to heavy swimbait setup.

Where the Polaris 147 and 167 are paddle tail swimbaits that thump through the water, the Drifter has a forked tail and a slower, wider glide. Pick the Polaris when you want vibration and steady searching, the Drifter when the fish want something calm and natural.
