Rapala DT4 Dives-To

The Rapala DT4 Dives-To is a shallow-running crankbait designed for targeting predatory fish such as perch, pike and bass when fishing the upper water layers and shallow structures. This crankbait is built to quickly reach a running depth of around 1.2 metres and maintain that depth consistently during the retrieve, making it effective along shorelines, above weed beds, over rocks and around other shallow cover.

The Rapala DT4 Dives-To combines a precisely selected balsa wood body with carefully positioned internal weights and a tuned diving lip, allowing the lure to dive quickly to its intended depth and remain in the strike zone longer than many alternative crankbaits. The natural buoyancy of balsa ensures a lively and responsive swimming action and causes the lure to float up slowly when paused, helping it deflect off structure and reduce snagging. Compared to deeper-running DT models, the DT4 is the preferred choice when fish are holding shallow or when accurate depth control is required in clear or pressured water conditions.
