The Savage Gear 3D Glide Roach 23 cm is built from a real 3D scan of a roach, so the body shape and the scale detail come straight from the fish itself. At 23 cm and 170 g this is the big profile in the range, the bait you tie on when you are after the largest pike in the water. Work it with gentle twitches and pulls and it glides wide from side to side. Add a pause and it hangs in the water and sinks slowly, which is where the big fish make up their mind. Because the line runs straight through the body, the rig separates from the lure on the strike: the fish cannot use the bait as a lever to throw the hooks, and the bait survives fish after fish. Two SGY 1X BN trebles on a Carbon 49 wire frame hold what bites.
