They are made from high quality stainless steel and stay compact for their breaking strain, which is exactly what you want in front of a softbait or a vibration lure. A bulky snap kills the action of a light lure and flashes in clear water; this one keeps the nose of your bait free to move and stays discreet even on a thin fluorocarbon leader.
