Fishimpact Virus 19 cm – Handmade Pelagic Softbait for Pike, Zander and Catfish

The Fishimpact Virus 19 cm is one of Fish Impact's best-selling pelagic lures: a hybrid between their signature Tong body and a classic pintail tail. It was built for the way pelagic anglers actually fish — hunting individual predators suspended in the water column, often with sonar or livescope, where the lure has to stay convincing on a slow, controlled presentation.

That is where the pintail earns its place. Instead of the heavy thump of a paddle tail, the Virus gives a subtle rolling movement that pressured pike and zander will follow and commit to. The soft body is handmade in Belgium with a UV reflective finish that keeps it visible in deep or coloured water, and the side flaps along the body can be cut halfway to change the action — trim them and the tail loosens into a wider, more aggressive swim you can dial in on the spot.

At 19 cm and 30 g this is the middle size in the Virus range and the most versatile of the three. Drop to the 14,5 cm when zander are picky or the water is shallow; step up to the 25 cm when you are hunting big pike and catfish and want a larger silhouette in the water column.
