The Okuma Zyros is a lightweight and versatile spinning reel designed for smooth performance across a wide range of freshwater and inshore fishing applications. The smaller Okuma Zyros models are well suited to perch, trout, zander and light pike fishing, while the larger 4000 and 5000 sizes provide the additional line capacity and drag power required for heavier predator fishing and light saltwater use.

The lightweight and rigid C-40X carbon body, side plates and rotor provide stability without adding unnecessary weight. Okuma’s Flite Gear and Flite Drive systems reduce internal resistance and support a smooth, responsive retrieve, while the Gearing Stabilization System supports the pinion gear at both ends for improved alignment and durability. A multi-disc Carbonite drag system delivers controlled drag pressure during the fight.
