Frapp Funky Grub 10" – 25 cm Curly Tail Softbait for Europe's Largest Predators

The Frapp Funky Grub 10" is a big-bait grub built for anglers who fish for the biggest predators in European water. At 25 cm and 88 g it carries serious volume, but the reason it works is the tail: an oversized curly tail that rolls and waves at retrieve speeds where most large softbaits simply go dead. You can crawl it and it still moves.

The body is shaped with a flat back and a slim belly. That combination keeps the bait tracking straight instead of rolling over on itself, and it leaves the hook sitting where you want it — which is what turns follows into hook-ups on shallow rigs and stinger systems alike. Cut-outs at the base of the tail let it flex further and push more vibration, and the front section is reinforced so a set of pike teeth does not end the bait on the first fish.

It is a versatile bait to rig. Use a bait screw and a stinger when you are fishing shallow and want the bait high in the water, drop it on a jighead when you need to reach fish holding deep, or run it weedless on a large offset hook around cover. It fishes just as well in still water as in current.
