Sufix x8 braided line offers high abrasion-resistance, superb knot and shock strength, and a smooth, low-friction surface for long, accurate casts. Its 8-carrier construction ensures a strong, thin line with consistent diameter, making it ideal for both casting and spinning reels.

Which fishing scenarios are best suited for Sufix x8 braid?

Sufix x8 is versatile and works well for a variety of fishing situations, including perch and trout fishing with lighter lines, zander and seabass with mid-weight lines, and pike fishing with heavier lines for light to medium lures or heavylure setups, thanks to its high strength-to-diameter ratio.

How should I care for and store Sufix x8 braided line to maintain its performance?

To preserve the quality of Sufix x8 braid, rinse it with fresh water after saltwater use, store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, and regularly inspect it for signs of wear or damage. Proper care ensures long-lasting performance and reliability during fishing.

Sufix x8 braid – 8-carrier braided line for pike, zander and perch

Sufix x8 is a round, silky-smooth braided line in Japanese style. Eight thin HMPE fibres are braided tightly together. That gives you a thin line with a lot of strength for its diameter, good abrasion resistance and strong knots. It works on spinning and baitcasting reels.

The R8 Precision Braiding process weaves the fibres under high tension. This keeps the diameter the same along the whole spool and makes the line supple. It slides quietly through the rod guides, so you cast further and more accurately and feel every tap on your lure.

Charlie's tip: pick 0.104 mm for perch and trout, and 0.128 mm for zander and sea bass. Go for 0.205 mm when you fish for pike with light to medium lures. Choose 0.235 mm for big pike, heavy lures or a heavy baitcaster setup.
